Baskets, lighting, bath, and kitchen — woven by hand from seagrass, water hyacinth, bamboo, and rattan. Made by 14 artisan studios across Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Shipped from our Brooklyn warehouse in 100% recycled packaging.
From the kitchen drawer to the bathroom shelf, from the entryway to the patio — every corner of the home, in hand-woven natural fiber.
Four of our most-stocked, most-reviewed, most-recommended pieces — from storage to steamer, from bath to picnic.
Every piece in our shop is woven by hand at one of 14 small studios we partner with across Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines. We don't white-label. We don't dropship. We visit every studio twice a year, we pay 35% above the regional fair-trade wage, and we co-design 6 collections a year with the weavers themselves.
Most of our baskets are made from seagrass or water hyacinth — both are fast-growing, renewable aquatic plants that are actually invasive in many of the waters where they're harvested. Buying them helps clean the rivers and the lagoons and provides year-round income to coastal weaving villages.
Twelve new pieces in undyed natural seagrass, soft sage-dyed water hyacinth, and our first-ever solid teak stool. Limited runs, made over six weeks at our partner studios. Ships starting April 15.
See the new arrivals →Bought the seagrass storage basket for the living room and came back two weeks later for two more. The weave is tight, the leather handles are real, and it actually holds the weight they claim (40 lbs of blankets, no sag). Looks way more expensive than $89.
The 3-tier bamboo steamer is a workhorse. We use it for dumplings, vegetables, fish — everything. Six months in, no mold, no smell, no warping. The lid fits tight, the bamboo is heavy enough to feel substantial. Beats the Williams Sonoma one I almost bought for triple the price.
The bamboo bath caddy is one of those things I didn't know I needed until I had it. Extends from 26" to 40" so it fits my giant soaking tub. Phone slot, wine glass slot, book slot, soap slot. My partner and I fight over it. We bought a second one.
